DRAFT PLANS (October 3, 2013): Sources tell us developer Carnegie Companies are close to finishing draft plans for the "Shoppes on Clifton" site.
As one may remember, the underwhelming plan leaked last March gives the entire neighborhood good reason to stay unified and continue to keep a very close eye on what Carnegie wants to see developed.

STAKEHOLDERS MEETING (May 24, 2013): At a meeting held this past Wednesday at Cleveland City Council offices, city officials reported the "Shoppes on Clifton" development is currently on hold and that developer Carnegie Companies will be going back to the drawing board to produce a more acceptable site plan.

THANK YOU to all Neighbors in Action supporters as well as other neighborhood groups who voiced their dismay with the "Shoppes on Clifton" site plan to our city officials and neighborhood leaders by writing letters, sending emails, making phone calls, and/or attending meetings. Our collaborative efforts surely assisted in offering guidance and reiterating how much we as a community value the Edgewater neighborhood as well as the importance the future development of the entire W. 117th Street and Clifton Boulevard block means to its residents and our friends in Lakewood.
We will continue to keep a close eye on any developments that emerge.
Lastly, Neighbors in Action will be following up on a meeting request put in two weeks ago to Councilman Westbrook and other city officials to discuss the "Landmark Park" plan, being proposed specifically for the "Fifth Church of Christ Scientist" parcel. Please check back here or on our Facebook page for further updates.
HAIRLINES DEMOLISHED (May 21, 2013): Demolition began yesterday of the former Hair Lines Salon on W. 116th Street. Developer Carnegie Companies purchased the property last year under the name Samco Properties Ltd. No new developments with the actual "Shoppes on Clifton" site.

Hopefully this comment meets your needs.
